Poem

As I sit beside you in gentle silence,
while the night creeps toward day,
a blanket of calmness wraps around me,
words don't exist that let me say,
how amazing it is to be beside you,
but in the depths of my soul I do pray,
that the moment lingers forever,
as we express our love in silence,
in so many thousands of ways.
